I Illustrated the cover and packaging for Portland's local sweetheart band, Crow and the Canyon. Inspired by their track, Its the Loving Not the Leaving That Hurts, i wanted the image to evoke a sort of painful but necessary growth that is both freeing and uncertain. Check out there music at http://www.crowandthecanyon.com/#!

album cover Concept 1
This is one of the concepts submitted to the Portland-based band, The Hill Dogs. I was given direction to illustrate a dog walking himself with his own cut noose. I enjoyed the juxtaposition of a sunny day and the melancholy appearance of the dog who may have just moments before decided he'd hang in there a little longer.....
Album cover for Otis Heat, ING
I focused on the title track to develop a concept inspired by our indulgence with desire and struggle juxtaposed with our reluctance to indulge. Check them out at otisheat.com.

The comma dance is the brain child of my mastermind friend, Lucas Dix. As a teacher who also has the extraordinary talent of rap/hip hop artist, he dreamed up the creative way to help his 6th grade students remember the proper use of the comma. I was more than pumped when he asked me to design the band camp banner, cover, and lesson worksheets - I was honored! I also learned a bunch of ways in which I was abusing (or misusing) commas. Life long learning, my friends! Enjoy. And thank you, Mr. Dix!!

I Am A Witness Campaign
Power in numbers: stop cyber bullying
In 2015 Adobe and Ad Council launched an awareness campaign encouraging kids to stand up to cyberbullying whenever they witnessed it by using a simple tool--an emoji. The witness emoji was the first emoji ever created for a social cause. To bring more awareness to the emoji, the Ad Council partnered with Goodby & Silverstein in 2016 to launch a contest to allow kids to express their version of our eye-in-speech bubble design for the potential to win scholarship money. The project was kicked off by asking a select group of artists to show kids their interpretations of the emoji. As one of those artists, these were my emojis and accompanying designs:
